1. Take Responsibility for Your Own Dreams
Your dreams are YOURS. No one else is responsible for them. I remember when I first started in real estate, I had big, crazy goals. But when I shared them with people I admired, some of them didn’t get it. They questioned why I’d want to do it or said things like, “You’re a mom of four—why take on more?” Their doubts made me second-guess myself. But then I realized—these are my dreams. I get to decide what’s possible, and so do you. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
2. Let’s Go!
If you follow me on social media, you know I say this all the time: LET’S GO! It means just start. There’s no perfect time for anything in life. I have twins, two older kids, a full-time career, and a husband who works 75+ hours a week. If I waited for the perfect time, I’d never get anything done. This morning, I did something I’d been putting off for months—it took five minutes. FIVE. Don’t overthink it. Take the first step. Plant the seed. Keep watering it. And watch things grow.
3. You Don’t Need Permission
You don’t need anyone’s approval to go after what you want. I used to think, I need more experience before I can do this or I haven't hit a certain milestone yet, so I shouldn’t show up as an authority. Nope. That’s just fear talking. If you have a dream, if you have a vision—go after it. Start before you feel ready.
4. You’re Never Going to Feel Ready
This one hits home. So many times, I’ve told myself, I’m just not ready yet. The truth? That was fear talking. I once dreamed of running a marathon, but I had never run more than a 5K. One day, I stopped making excuses, Googled a marathon training plan, and started. I wasn’t ready—but I did it anyway. Whatever you're waiting on, stop waiting. Take a step forward today.
5. Small, Consistent Steps Lead to Big Change
The biggest transformations happen through daily, consistent actions. When I started my Instagram, I had zero followers. No photos. No plan. I built it one post at a time, day after day. Now, I have over 100,000 followers, and I connect with people daily. That didn’t happen overnight. It happened because I showed up, even when no one was watching. Whatever goal you have, stay consistent. The results WILL come.
6. Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable
Growth happens outside your comfort zone. Waking up at 5:30 AM isn’t fun. But that’s when I get my best ideas, my best workouts, and my best thinking done. The biggest decisions in my business have been made at 5:30 AM on the treadmill. If you want something different in life, you have to do things that feel uncomfortable.
